El Escoces Volante

Norrel Robertson is a Scottish Master of Wine who landed in Calatayud almost by chance after making wines in different parts of the world. His wines transmit his character, eclectic and innovative, and at the same time, they are very well imprinted with the essence of Calatayud, its old Garnacha vines and its high altitude slate soils.

Smell

Baked apple aromas, creamy notes. Light hints of cinnamon.

Taste

Fresh and full-bodied, with good acidity and some salinity due to stay on lees.

A unique and extensive vineyard next to the Támega River.

Making notes

The grapes are harvested by hand in boxes of 20 kg grapes cool down arriving at cellar. A soft pressing is performed and the must obtained is reserved in a tank.

Climatología

Very different: pizarry, but also alluvial, sandy and clay.
