Description of Cuesta del Herrero
Finca Aylés is located in the north-east of Spain, in the region of Aragón. Founded in 1998, the history of Aylés begins in the Middle Ages and since then it has always been considered a privileged environment for the cultivation of vines and the production of quality wine.A wine that expresses through the Merlot, Tempranillo, Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties the unique characteristics of this plot and with a cellaring potential of up to 7 years. The soils of the vineyards where it comes from have a higher calcium component, are mostly sandy and with some pebbles. This soil composition results in fresher and fruitier wines. These expressions are rounded off during 6 months in French oak barrels of first or second use.
