Mar de Frades

In the Salnés subzone, facing the Arosa estuary, Mar de Frades has been producing exclusively Galician white wines and spirits since 1987. Albariños and Godellos, sparkling wines, all of them distil the essence of Galician wines and are a guarantee of success at any table.

Nota de CataTasting notes

Lemon lit with a steely glare.

Uele fine herbs, pineapple, walnuts, balanced with aromas that blend of white flowers and subtle balsamic memories. Fine and elegant.

Delicate in the mouth, its passage is blunt and kind, hints of spices and exotic fruits are intuited.

Making notes

The first selection is made in the field, all the clusters are cut by hand, and only the excellent ones come to the boxes, where they will be transported to the winery, there, they pass through our selection tables, this second review assures us that only those who are They find in their best maturation, are destined to our Wine Finca Valiñas. The Descte was 19%. The grapes continued to our ganimed deposits, where cold film maceration, achieved the extraction of the most saline essence. The must was divided for fermentation, 20% in French oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel tank. The aging begins with a delicate and constant "Batonnage" of the finest lias for 3 months in barrel and 5 months in stainless steel, and then leave the wine to rest on its lees for almost a year. 6 months before your bottling, both wines are assembled to spend your breeding in a bottle before your departure to the market.
