Description of Viña Meín Red Wine

Viña Meín Tinto 2018 (D. O. Ribeiro) is a young, fresh and expressive wine, made with local varieties brancellao, souson and caíño red, aged for 11 months.Sheltered by the Atlantic climate, two small plots in the center of the Avia Valley give us a spicy wine whose light and smooth tannin has a long journey on the palate.2018 presented climatic difficulties to the Ribeiro vineyards, reducing the amount of final product in benefit of an increase in quality.For 11 months it has aged in large barrels, to be bottled in August 2019.

The vintage was held in the first weeks of September. Manual in small boxes. The wine was elaborated in different types and sizes of wood: large barrels, opened fudges and tinos. Ring of 11 months of breeding in wood before its passage to bottle.
