Ramón Bilbao

The history of Ramon Bilbao is the materialisation of the idea of the man who gave his name to the winery. A project that revisits classic Rioja concepts such as Tempranillo or American oak, to give a fruitier and fresher version of Rioja Alta, to become one of the most admired brands in the world.

Descripción de Ramon Bilbao Viñedos de AlturaDescription of Ramon Bilbao Viñedos de Altura

Ramón Bilbao Viñedos de Altura is one of those gifts that you could find by chance. A red wine made with Tempranillo varieties, from vineyards located in Ábalos and Garnacha - in Tuldeilla, at 700 meters high - for the popular Riojan winery Ramón Bilbao, known in Haro (La Rioja) for the quantity and quality of the wines they make. The production of high altitude vineyards is carried out separately in French oak vats, and then goes on to aging in new French oak barrels. Its great versatility means that it can be paired with a wide variety of dishes, but from the bottle we recommend taking it with red meat with sauce or grilled . A good fresh cheese is also a great accompaniment.
