The Winery
Marqués de Riscal

Marqués de Riscal is one of the original Rioja wineries. It has been making classic Riojas since 1858, but it has also been able to adapt to the avant-garde and, above all, to produce wines capable of transcending the passage of time. Today it controls more than 1500 hectares of vineyards in Rioja and owns the largest vineyard in Rueda with more than 200 hectares.

Description of Marques De Riscal Old Vines Rosé
Marqués de Riscal Old Vines Rosé is a natural-blood rosé, made with garnacha and tempranillo from vines over 80 years old (pre-phylloxera) from the highest gravelly terraces of the Duero river.
It is a limited edition with which Marqués de Riscal has wanted to look at the past, revise its wine making tradition and produce an avant-garde wine.
Its fruity aromas are enhanced by a few months of being in contact with fine lees of the sauvignon blanc variety that give the wine freshness and complexity.
