Marqués de Riscal
Marqués de Riscal is one of the original Rioja wineries. It has been making classic Riojas since 1858, but it has also been able to adapt to the avant-garde and, above all, to produce wines capable of transcending the passage of time. Today it controls more than 1500 hectares of vineyards in Rioja and owns the largest vineyard in Rueda with more than 200 hectares.

Description of Viña Calera
Marqués de Riscal produces this Rueda with a selection of Verdejo, Viura and Sauvignon Blanc varieties, from vineyards under 15 years old, trained on trellises.
The harvest is carried out by machine during the night to take advantage of the low temperatures and to limit the oxidation processes of the must as much as possible.
After clarification, the fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of between 13ºC and 15ºC. The wine, once stabilized, will be bottled between the months of January and March following the harvest.
