Enate is one of the leading and driving wineries in the Somontano area of Aragon. A historic winery with decades of experience working the vineyards in the Barbastro area and managing to perfect the identity of its reds with Bordeaux varieties and probably some of the best whites in Aragon.

  Uno Tinto 2010 is ENATE's most important and exclusive red wine. It is a collection wine with an undeniable touch of exclusivity. The selection process both in the vineyard and in the winery is responsible for the fact that the grape production for this wine is very limited and therefore there are few vintages in which we can obtain so much elegance and concentration at the same time. In fact, this is the third vintage of this wine to be released on the market. Previously only 2005, 2009 and the current 2010 were produced. Enate UNO is a red wine aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels. It is an excellent wine, and like its brother UNO Chardonnay, a carefully crafted wine.

Notas del Viñedo

The winery vineyard, some 500 hectares own, is divided by the municipalities of High Salas, Low Salas, Creenzán and Barbastro. Located about 600 meters of altitude on little fertile limestone floors.

Making notes

After going through two selection processes, only the best grains passed to small stainless steel tanks, equipped with an automatic pisonate that allows us to squeeze to the maximum what each of these varieties is able to contribute to wine. Also with the mood of achieving the extraction of more color and primary aromas, we carry out before fermentation, a cold maceration. After 3 days, we let the temperature rise and, once the fermentation started, we adjust the temperature at 28 ° C. The maceration with the boils lasted for a month. The wines were discovered directly to new extrafine grain French oak barrels. In them, the malolactic fermentation passed and the wine remained in contact with its fine lees for 20 months, which favors the release of polysaccharides from the cell walls that increase the flesh and the volume in the mouth of the wine.


The climate in this area is continental, temperatures are very cold in winter and summers, hot.
