Viñas del Vero

Viñas del Vero owes its name to a river in the Somontano region, the Vero River, famous for its ravines, gorges and canyons.

With vineyards of the traditional varieties of the region (Tempranillo, Moristel, Garnacha and Macabeo), together with others of different origins (Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir) they produce wines that entered the market in 1990.

Currently, Viñas de Vero is the leading winery in the Somontano appellation in terms of production volume and quality.

The expression of its aromatic component is fast, fresh and attractive, reminiscent of ornamental bush flowers and summer fruits. On the palate, its harmony and finesse, its gentle passage, roundness and continuity stand out, synonymous with the elegance of this variety and the meticulous process of making this wine.

Making notes Viñas del Vero Pinot Noir Rosado

Notas del Viñedo

Elaborate at the Vineyards of Payment the Almunietas. The vineyards of Pinot Noir vineyards of Vero are planted with northeast orientation, which guarantees a good protection of their delicate grapes facing the midday sun. The soils are columbial deposits of the quaternary in terraces and glacis, poor, with free texture and a pending of 25%, which implies an excellent drainage. The plant material comes from the Cote dOr. The pruning is carried out in simple Guyot, typically Burgoñón.

Making notes

Fermentation was carried out only with fun flower and at low temperature. After three transview and its subsequent stabilization, the wine was bottled.
