Pagos del Moncayo

Our winery is located at the foot of the Sierra del Moncayo, in the heart of the Iberian mountain range as it passes through Aragon. Given the proximity to Vera del Moncayo and its privileged location in the province of Zaragoza, the beauty and richness of the environment in which these wines are made are incomparable.

Pagos del Moncayo is the result of a family dream: to transmit through our wines all the passion and experience resulting from centuries of tradition in the cultivation of Garnacha grapes in the lands of Campo de Borja.

Intense purple color.

Smell

Fresh scents of thyme and rosemary steeped in the nearby meadows.

Taste

Palate is presented with great breadth, pure ripe fruit: silky, tasty and dense. Flavored with spicy soft touches from passing through the barrel, balanced with good acidity. The finish is long and generous.

Description of Prados Privé

Prados Privé is the star wine of Pagos del Mocayo. It shows the entrepreneurial character of its creators. Its intense purple color and the country aromas acquired by the adjacent Prados make this red wine very balanced.

Vineyards located in the low area of the Borja countryside, 350 or 450 meters altitude, with bioculture techniques in which half of the clusters are discarded to ensure maximum quality.

ABRING 12 months in American barrel.

Climatología

Continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. During summer nights temperatures fall, allowing to moderate the growth of the plant. The area is very dry and is characterized by having few rainfall.
