Description of Matarromera Reserva
Matarromera is one of the most iconic wineries in the famous Ribera del Duero. Since their first vintage of their crianza in 1994, where they achieved the highest distinction in the International Wine Competition with a Grand Gold Medal, they have been making wines with their own identity in the Ribera del Duero for more than 30 years. Vineyards coming exclusively from the Las Celadillas and Las Solanas estates to elaborate its reserve. A traditional elaboration process with the highest standards of elaboration and the best qualities in the barrels used for its reserve, 225 litre barrels of French and American oak from the best forests. The result, after 14 months of ageing in wood and more than 20 months in the bottle before reaching the market, is a red wine with great elegance that offers the best of the fruitiness of a balanced and direct tinta del pais, and the sobriety of an ageing process that gives toasted and spicy notes to complete the whole.Ideal pairing
