Description of Care Tinto Sobre Lías

Care Red Oak is the mid-range wine produced by Bodegas Care in the town of Cariñena, near Zaragoza. Wines from the Cariñena Denomination of Origin are called "de las piedras" (from the stones), because their soil tends to be mostly rocky, and therefore it is harder than usual for the vines to grow vines in these lands.

The different varieties were devised separately given their different maturity cycle. These grapes once despalted and without squeeze, were taken to stainless steel trunk fermers deposits. After a cold maceration (9ºC) for 8 days, the alcoholic fermentation was performed with selected yeast, letting the temperature reach 24 ° C. Subsequently, he discovered, the wine performed the malolactic fermentation and after mixing the two varieties (50%) underwent a new American oak barrel rest for 4 months.
