Marqués de Riscal

Marqués de Riscal is one of the original Rioja wineries. It has been making classic Riojas since 1858, but it has also been able to adapt to the avant-garde and, above all, to produce wines capable of transcending the passage of time. Today it controls more than 1500 hectares of vineyards in Rioja and owns the largest vineyard in Rueda with more than 200 hectares.

The red wine Arienzo, from Herederos del Marqués de Riscal Wineries, is made with the selection of the best grapes of the varieties Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano, coming from the vineyards located in Laguardia and Elciego. Arienzo is aged for 18 months in American oak barrels. This is a fresh and fruity Rioja wine and ideal for pairing with grilled red meat or blue fish. It can also accompany a good cured cheese.
