  Contino Graciano 2015, a Graciano monovarietal with the elegance worthy of a French "Château". Although it is becoming more and more frequent, it is not usual to find monovarietals of Graciano. This variety gives  us an intense, lively and aromatic wine. Fruity on the nose, with a predominance of wild red fruits and balsamic backgrounds. Full in the mouth, with nerve and very long, intense aftertaste where the fruits return and also with a certain mineral note.

Viñas planted in 1979 and in 1989, located mostly at the "San Gregorio Grande" farm. CVNE controls around 545 hectares located at the subzones of Rioja Alta and Rioja Alaves, characterized by being clayed soils - calcareous, clay-ferrous and allovers.

Making notes

Vintage 100% manual. FRENCH OECH TENAS of 100 Hectoliters at temperatures between 28 and 30ºC for 8 days. After a 7-day maceration, the malolactic fermentation took place in new French oak barrels. The aging was carried out in French oak barrels (90%) and Hungarian (10%), all of them first use, for 15 months. Once bottled the wine continues in the cellar for a year before going on the market

Climatología

Since October 2014 until September 2015, 508 liters per square meter of rainfall were recorded, 10% more than the previous year. The beginning of Enervo took place on July 12.
