Description of Whisky Bourbon Makers Mark
This one changed the way we think about bourbon, all because one man changed the way he thought about it. Bill Samuels, Sr. simply wanted a whisky that he would like to drink. Never bitter or sharp, Maker's Mark is made with soft red winter wheat, instead of the usual rye, for a unique, flavored, easy-drinking bourbon. To ensure consistency, we rotate each barrel manually and age our bourbon depending on taste, but not time. Each and every Maker's bottle is still hand-dipped in our signature red wax at our distillery in Loretto, Ky., Just as Bill, Sr. would have liked.
