The Winery

Williams & Humbert

Founded in 1877 by Sir. Alexander Williams, a great connoisseur and admirer of sherry products, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in international relations.

Since then, some of the house wines and brandies have been kept in oak casks of the highest quality (soleras). These form the basis for the current development and ageing of each of the wines and brandies of Bodegas Williams & Humbert.

Descripción de Brandy Duque de AlbaDescription of Brandy Duque de Alba

A complex brandy that balances balsamic aromas with the toasted aromas typical of ageing in oak casks, previously used to age oloroso wine. Best enjoyed in a fine balloon glass, neat or with ice slightly warmed in the bowl of the hand over a long after-dinner drink.

Notas del Viñedo

In this brandy, excellent white wines of Palomino and Airen are selected.

Making notes

The Netherlands were obtained by distillation at 65º in alquitar. Subsequently, they aged in American oak boots that previously contained odorous wine and, through the traditional method of soleras and breeding, entering the system by the tenth breeding. Once you have discarded the solera, it is possible to control the volume of saves to keep the old age of the brandy constant.
