Description of Bardos Verdejo
In 2004, the Bardos winery began to explore the wine regions with the greatest potential in Spain, discovering in Rueda the Verdejo vineyards, a variety capable of conquering the palate of the most aromatic white wine lovers. lovers of the most aromatic whites.
For the production of Bardos Verdejo, the vineyards are between 20 and 25 years old, located in Rueda and La Seca, at an altitude of more than 700 m above sea level on stony soils. The terrain is difficult to work due to its unevenness, which allows for good aeration and sunlight.
The climate is continental in influence, with large areas of high altitude. The continental climate, with large temperature differences between day and night during the summer, favours a good balance between sugar and acidity.
