The winery is located in the building of the old Agricultural Cooperative of Bellmunt del Priorat. The vineyards are located to the left of the river Siurana as it passes by the former monks' residence. The land is deep, with a reddish soil of silt and clay, in which fluvial sediments predominate.
Currently, the Casa Gran del Siurana winery has a total of 16.5 hectares planted with vineyards that combine native varieties (Garnatxa, Caranyena) and foreign varieties (Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot...).
We have opted for trellised cultivation with a very high planting frame (between 0.60 and 1.10m) and the installation of a drip irrigation system that we use only when it is necessary to supplement rainwater.
