Look

Intense cherry red tones.

Smell

Aromaticity and surprising freshness of shades of blue flower on red ripe fruit. The new oak adds complexity with roasted and smoked notes (cocoa, toffee, coffee) and spices (pepper).

Taste

Fleshy and fresh with complexity and power but fine and dandy. The tannic structure is silky and is perfectly balanced with acidity and alcohol. The persistence in the mouth is prolonged. Wine of great character and elegance.

Rock floor Limestone, on which clays are found in the area of Burgos and Gravas and Arenas in the Peñafiel area.

Agar of 16 months in new barrels, most of them French oak.

Climatología

Extreme continental. Add with a soft winter and rainy spring with sprouting delay. The high temperatures during the month of June encouraged an advance of flowering. The summer was dry and hot. The high temperatures of the month of September and existing spring water reserves on the ground allowed optimal maturation.
