To the dictation of the principles of ecological viticulture, without using pesticides or herbicides and respecting the environment, Artadi carefully works the vineyards located 600 meters in altitude within the term of ELVILLA and West Exposition. A pigmented light brown poor soil of lime formations. Pretty homogeneous limo-clailose structure. Very compact floor between 80s and 100 cm deep, with very small roots.
Vinification in open deposits with cold maceration for 24-48 hours and fermentation for 10-12 days with two daily footsteps and a small survey. Perform a malolactic fermentation in barrel. Aging of 12 months in new French oak barrel.
A wet year with rainfall superior to the annual average. A hot spring and summer with punctual rainfall ensured an optimum harvest quality.
