Aalto is one of the undisputed references in the prestigious wineries of Ribera de Duero. Highly sought after wines from old vines located between Burgos and Valladolid. The project founded by Mariano Garcia and Javier Zaccagnini more than 20 years ago is now considered by many as one of the best red wines in Spain.

Description of Aalto PS

This wine comes from a selection within the selection, with grapes from small plots or individual hawthorns. We estimate to be able to offer this wine 7 or 8 harvests in each decade. It is aged in barrels for between 24 and 30 months. AALTO Wineries y Viñedos, has become a reference in the Ribera del Duero, its wine AALTO PS has been voted Best Wine of Spain and the winery has been chosen in Paris as one of the 100 best wineries in the world in the book published by the prestigious critics Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve. AALTO PS 2018 needs time in bottle to offer its best qualities. It can already be enjoyed from the first year, although from the third year onwards it will develop even greater complexity and range of nuances.
