Description of Pagos del Galir Mencía
Virgen del Galir elaborates this monovarietal of Mencía with the fruit of its most pampered Pagos. Thus, with an exceptional raw material and a light ageing in the barrel, they obtain a very aromatic red wine, with notes of red fruits and balsamic notes and a long and mineral finish. Cvne, despite being a brand traditionally associated with the wine of Rioja, also produces a single-variety red on the borders of the D. O. Valdeorras.

Making notes
The vintage is done manually. Once it reaches the winery, it is introduced into stainless steel tanks where a cold preterior maceration is performed. During alcoholic fermentation the temperature is controlled so that it does not exceed 28ºC. After the malolactic fermentation the wine passes 6 months in American and French oak barrel.Climatología
