  Viña Real Gran Reserva, from Bodegas CVNE, a wine that combines the personality, character and elegance of Rioja Alavesa with the roundness and balance of a perfect ageing. It is made from high quality grapes from the best vineyards in Rioja-Alavesa. Complex, long, fleshy and with a great potential of aging in bottle that will make it possible to enjoy it during the next 7-8 years. The fundamental characteristic of this 2011 vintage was the excellent health of the grapes and the development of incident-free fermentation. Among its aromas, the notes of vanilla, spices and ripe fruit stand out. The mouthfeel is smooth, unctuous and evolves into an intense finish.

Notas del Viñedo

The vineyards of the high rioja, from which the grape come for the wines of this winery, are characterized by being clayed soils - calcareous, clay-ferrous and allovers. CVNE controls around 545 hectares located in the subzones of Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa.

Making notes

Wine made from high-quality grapes harmless in the best payments of Rioja-Alavesa. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, performing successive and "delestages" in order to achieve a good extraction of structure and color. The malolactic fermentation is carried out in French and American oak barrels, and by means of manuals, the wine is stabilized and clean naturally. After raising in barrel of approximately 2 years the wine goes to aging in the bottle.
