This is how the bold reach the top and the future" With this phrase Alcorta Audaz Crianza 2016 is presented to the world. Alcorta Audaz Crianza 2016 is a red wine from the D. O. La Rioja produced by the Alcorta winery. This wine is a monovarietal of Tempranillo, the grape par excellence of the D. O. La Rioja. The height and the singular conditions of the land and location make them vineyards of exceptional quality. It is mostly composed of old vines, more than 25 years and are parcelled out so that the vocation of the grapes is determined for each type of wine. Alcorta Audaz Crianza 2016 carries out the normal processes of harvesting and elaboration following the family tradition and the knowledge acquired over the years. Alcorta Audaz Crianza 2016 is aged for one year in French and American oak barrels in the first instance. Finally, it ages around half a year more in the bottle before being marketed. With this wine, the Alcorta winery manages to produce a more fruity and velvety aging than usual. Alcorta is a winery dedicated exclusively to producing crianza, reserva and gran reserva wines. The oenologist of the project is Elena Adell, one of the most outstanding figures of the Spanish panorama.

Wine 100% Tempranillo. It has a year of aging in French oak barrel and six additional months in the bottle. The longer macerations stand out to get a wine of great structure and balance between fruit and wood.
