Segura Viudas

When Segura Viudas took over the lands that today make up the Heredad in 1954, they were already aware of the centuries-old agricultural tradition that had taken place there and some references to the vestiges that were hidden within its walls. They were also aware of the value that such a privileged location could transmit to the cavas and wines.

Today, fifty years later, we are faithful to this vision guided by coherence and respect for the land, the landscape and history, which integrates a sustainable conception of the environment. This is the only way we understand how the cavas and wines of the Heredad are made in harmony.

Cava Aria Brut Segura Viudas is obtained after investing all the winemaking experience of the winery in the development of new fermentation techniques. Working at a very low temperature with home-made yeasts allows the must have a more intense contact with yeasts, to later obtain very special aromas and flavors.
