The Winery

Williams & Humbert

Founded in 1877 by Sir. Alexander Williams, a great connoisseur and admirer of sherry products, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in international relations.

Since then, some of the house wines and brandies have been kept in oak casks of the highest quality (soleras). These form the basis for the current development and ageing of each of the wines and brandies of Bodegas Williams & Humbert.

The attack is sweet and good structure. Despite its sugar mouth is balanced, not heavy. His 20 years minimum aging give it complexity, and elegant notes of hazelnut and Pekan perfectly intertwined with candied fruit and wood.

Canasta 20 años is the older brother of the mythical cream of Williams & Humbert; Humbert with age indication VOS 20 years within its range of Soleras Especiales. This cream, conceived as a sweet oloroso unlike Canasta normal, has a minimum aging of 20 years in oxidative aging, without going through a phase under the veil of flower as in the case of fines and amontillados. A classic blend of dry style of Pedro Ximenez's fine and sweet palomino wines.
